EXPANDING ACCESS
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & GRANTS
At Black Oaks FC, we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of the game. Through the MLS GO Play Fund, we offer a national financial assistance program designed to remove economic barriers. This initiative provides individual grants to qualifying families, ensuring that ‘Elite’ training and the official MLS experience are accessible to everyone in our community. Grants are facilitated by the RCX Sports Foundation and are applied directly to your player’s registration fees.
HOW IT WORKS
- Check Eligibility: Grants are available to households with an annual income below the national median ($83,730) and currently enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC.
- Apply Early: Applications must be submitted through the RCX Sports Foundation at least one month prior to the registration deadline. Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Direct Credit: Once approved, the MLS GO Play Fund sends the grant directly to Black Oaks FC. Please note that these funds cannot be used as a reimbursement for previously paid registrations.
